Hotel | Eco-friendly Hotel Scandic Plaza is centrally located, a few steps from shopping and near the airport. Umeå is the biggest city in Norrland region and this year's Capital of Culture 2014 with lots of activities, art, music and happenings to offer visitors.

Umeå is a universitytown and in addition to the normal range of entertainment, music and different events on offer, 2014 will have a large number of events. During the summer the city comes alive and on Renmarks-square across the street there are many nice restaurants and bars. Umeå has also the Photomuseum , for contemporary art in Sweden. Scandic Plaza welcomes children, the hotel has a lot of activities for kids of all ages.

Rooms
Rooms are between 21 - 25 m2 with hardwood floors. All rooms are en suite with bath and / or shower. They are equipped with hairdryer, trouser press, TV with movie channels, wireless internet access, desk and an armchair. The rooms are non-smoking.

Food & Beverage
In the Plaza Brasserie breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, and on Friday´s an After Work buffet. Scandic shop is open around the clock and offers drinks, snacks, candy and more.
